The SCHS Drama Club will be presenting “12 Angry Jurors” on November 21st and 22nd. In the days leading up to the play, we will provide information on the actors performing in the play.
Juror 5: Owen
“Owen had not found his love of theatre until he hit high school and he found that he loved it. He watched his teacher, Ms. Bradshaw, in “One Sweet Kiss” and he realized he found something new that he loved. Another activity he enjoys would be playing guitar and trying to sound like the rockers from the 80’s and 90’s. His love of music extends to the moon and back and his love of theatre does too. He’s so glad he will be a part of this play.
My character, Juror 5, is a man born from the slums who has seen things from domestic abuse to knife fights and he is sitting here voting on this kid’s death. Which hit him to the core because he knows what the kid has seen. The 5th juror is quiet until he is provoked or insulted and can get aggressive really fast and easily.”
Juror 6: Hayleigh
“Hayleigh has always had a love for Drama and all things acting after watching the hit musical Hamilton in 2020. After that, she fell in love with musicals and during her freshman year Ms. Bradshaw forced her to join drama club and she really enjoyed it. Her first role was the role of “Drama Teacher”. She really enjoyed being able to yell at everyone. When she isn’t doing drama club, she is doing speech and debate. She is also color guard captain and she spends most of her time hanging out with her best friend Madi.
Juror #6 is a very sassy no nonsense type of girl. She hates men and has one daughter. She hates everyone in the court room except for herself because she is the only one she can handle. All she wants out of this case is to go home.”
