High School Student Council

About High School Student Council

High School Student Council is comprised of 6 elected Representatives per grade. The Representatives literally represent the student body for their 4 year term (primarily seeking to speak on behalf of the representative’s grade). Council members strive to contribute positively and to work with the Scott City community. They seek to make the general environment of high school at Scott City better for all. Council members do this by participating in such activities as an annual Senior Citizens Lunch & Learn, hosting Activity Days at the end of 1st & 2nd semesters, and sponsoring fundraisers such as hats or PJs for a cause.

How to Join

Students cannot “join.” They must be elected freshmen year.
