Student Spotlight:

Esports Spotlight: Wyatt

Each month, the Scott City GoRams website will highlight two or three students in the district to be recognized for their work in a sport, activity, or club. The student is picked by their organization sponsor/coach and can be picked for any number of reasons, such as effort, longevity, performance, accomplishments, etc.

Wyatt competed in Smash Brothers this past fall through MOSEF (Missouri Schools Esports Federation). MOSEF has close to 200 schools, there are no Class rankings like those in MSHSAA. Therefore, schools of all sizes compete against each other. Wyatt placed in the top 20 (out of approx 170 players) JV in the state. Each week he had to play a minimum of three games, many times he competed in more than three games. Wyatt has great sportsmanship and tenacity, and a fair bit of patience! He’s looking forward to the Spring season!
