Rams Outlast Jefferson
The Scott City Rams traveled to Festus on Wednesday evening to take on the Jefferson BlueJays, and were able to eke out a 57-52 win.
Scott City was able to put together a 16-13 lead after the first quarter, and outscored Jefferson 16-12 in the second quarter to hold a 32-25 lead at halftime. As physical as the first half was, the third quarter went up to another level as both teams struggled to score. The Rams held a slight 7-6 advantage which gave them a 39-31 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Scott City was able to hang on in the fourth quarter as Jefferson posted a 21-18 score, as their comeback attempt came up short.

In a very physical game that saw little to no flow, Scott City (21-4) committed 17 fouls and Jefferson (16-9) 14 fouls. Scott City was able to make their free-throws down the stretch, going 12-15 in the fourth quarter to seal the road win. The Rams will travel to Twin Rivers High School on Friday to take on the Royals at 7:30 p.m.

JV Rams Hang Tough, Pick up Road Win
The Scott City JV Rams were able to hold a 32-26 lead at halftime, and picked up their 16th win of the season with a 59-57 victory. The JV Rams (16-3) will finish their season on Friday when they take on the JV Royals at Twin Rivers High School, starting at 6:00 p.m.
