Boys Basketball Claims Scott-Miss Crown

The Scott-Mississippi Tournament championship game between Scott City and East Prairie was highly anticipated, especially after Scott City took the first matchup in a close game. But, once again, it was the Scott City Rams who emerged victorious with a 65-53 win over the Eagles on Friday, February 7th, 2025.

Playing on their home floor, the Rams took charge in the 4th quarter, outscoring the Eagles 23-8 in the final period.  The win marked a significant milestone for Scott City, who have now won 10 out of their last 11 games, and are looking towards earning yet another 20 win season.

The Rams will look to build on their momentum as they head into the final stretch of games against Malden, Chaffee, and Perryville. The Rams hope to enter into the upcoming District Tournament battle-tested and ready to win the school’s 9th district tournament championship.
