Student Spotlight:

Isabella Young

Each month, the Scott City GoRams website will highlight two or three students in the district to be recognized for their work in a sport, activity, or club. The student is picked by their organization sponsor/coach and can be picked for any number of reasons, such as effort, longevity, performance, accomplishments, etc.

Isabella Young is a senior that worked her way into High School Student Council in an unconventional way. High school Stuco is normally a 4 year term in which students run and are elected freshmen year. However, Isabella was new to our school, and missed this opportunity. She didn’t allow this to deter her desire to be part of our organization. She made herself readily available for two years and willing to help in any way at every Stuco-sponsored event and respectfully expressed her desire to be admitted as a member in the instance of vacancy; her junior year, her fortitude paid off. Isabella has proven to be a true leader.
