The Scott City Speech and Debate team had their first tournament on Thursday, January 9th at Doniphan High School. They brought home 1st and 2nd in Storytelling, 1st and 2nd in Prose, and 2nd in Radio Speaking. A great week for the team! Be sure to tell any team members to “break a leg” for their next tournament at Clearwater.
To make the trip even more exciting, the team had to take pictures at Taco Bell because they had to leave the tournament early because of the weather.
