Basketball District Tournament About To Begin
As the regular season comes to a close, the Scott City Rams basketball teams are gearing up for what promises to be an electrifying ride in the Class 3, District 2 tournament. The stage is set for some thrilling matchups as our Rams girls and boys basketball teams take on their district foes.
For the girls’ team, the journey begins with a matchup against the West County Bulldogs on Tuesday, February 25th at 5:30 p.m. This will be an exciting opportunity for our talented young ladies to showcase their skills and compete against some of the best teams in the district. With every possession counting, we can expect a high-energy contest that will keep fans on the edge of their seats.
Meanwhile, the Scott City Rams boys team has earned a well-deserved bye into the semifinal round as the #2 seed in District 2. With an impressive record of 21-3 (with 1 regular season game left to play), their first round bye is a testament to their hard work and dedication throughout the season. The opponent in the semifinal round will be determined by the outcome of the game between Arcadia Valley Tigers and Clearwater Tigers. The Rams will meet the winner of the first round game on Wednesday, February 26th at 7:30 p.m. Until then, our Rams boys team will have a chance to rest up and focus on their strategy.
The tournament is shaping up to be an unforgettable experience filled with drama, suspense, and top-notch basketball. The Scott City school district is proud of both our girls’ and boys’ teams for their unwavering commitment to hard work throughout the season. Now it’s time to see how they’ll fare against some stiff competition in the district tournament.
Mark your calendars for Tuesday and Wednesday, February 25th-26th, as we cheer on our Scott City Rams basketball teams! Let’s show them what we’re made of and make a deep run in this year’s Class 3, District 2 tournament. Go Rams!
