Fall Homecoming Success!
The Scott City Rams football team capped off an exciting Homecoming week with a decisive 41-14 victory over the Chaffee Red Devils on Friday, October 11th. The win not only showcased the Rams’ impressive skills on the field, but also clinched the Scott-Mississippi Conference championship for the team.
Homecoming week at Scott City was filled with spirited events and activities to get the community pumped up for the big game. Students participated in themed spirit days like Blackout Day and Red, White and Blue Day, demonstrating their unwavering support for the school. The Homecoming Parade on Monday brought out many Ram fans, while the Homecoming pep rally on Wednesday was full of energy, fun and excitement. The energy and enthusiasm carried over to the Friday night matchup, where the home team dominated from start to finish. After the game, Homecoming Coronation was held, with Ramsey Spinks being named the Fall Homecoming Queen of 2024-2025.
With this conference-clinching win, the Scott City Rams have bumped their record up to 5-3 and solidified their position as a force to be reckoned with in the region. The Homecoming triumph is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the players, coaches, and the entire Scott City community. As the team looks ahead towards the district tournament in two weeks, they do so with the momentum of this impressive victory and the pride of their Homecoming celebration.
