Girls and Boys Basketball Rosters Now Available!
Exciting news for all you Scott City Rams basketball fans out there! We’re thrilled to announce that the girls and boys basketball roster pages for the 2025-2026 season are now live on our website. For those eagerly anticipating the start of the new season, these pages offer a sneak peek at the talented rosters that will be taking to the court.
The boys team is looking particularly strong this year, with many returning players from last year’s 23-4 team who have gained valuable experience over the past few seasons. Led by talented upperclassmen, they’re looking to create a memorable season, with a deep playoff run. But it’s not just about continuity – the boys basketball team has many exciting freshmen and sophomores to keep your eye on.
The boys team opens their 2025-2026 season at home on December 9th against St. Pius X, a team coming off a difficult season with a 2024-2025 record of 2-22. Other key games include a rivalry game at Kelly on December 16th, the Christmas Tournament starting on December 26th, another rivalry game at Chaffee on January 13th, and winter homecoming against conference foe, East Prairie, on January 16th. The season will conclude with the district tournament, scheduled to begin on February 24th.
Meanwhile, the girls team may be facing some challenges with limited returning experience, but they’re more than making up for it with enthusiasm and determination. Despite losing several players from last year’s 4-19 squad, this group is hungry to prove themselves and make a name for themselves in our conference. They’ll have plenty of opportunities to do just that as the season gets underway – first up is a road trip to Bloomfield on December 1st, followed by a pair of away games at Charleston on December 4th and Perryville on December 8th. The girls basketball team’s home opener is scheduled for December 11th, against Saxony Lutheran.
As we count down the days until tip-off, we’re excited to see how these teams will come together and make their mark on the court. Will the boys continue their winning ways?
