This spotlight is on McKenzie Matty. McKenzie is a freshman on the cheerleading team. She is a great leader, hard worker, and a great friend to her fellow teammates. Her leadership has shown through since tryouts, when she would step up and help teach, as well as in the regular season! McKenzie is a hard worker and is constantly working to improve and perfect her talents. She is also a great friend to her fellow teammates, always uplifting them and bringing positive energy!

Each month, the Scott City GoRams website will highlight two or three students in the district to be recognized for their work in a sport, activity, or club. The student is picked by their organization sponsor/coach and can be picked for any number of reasons, such as effort, longevity, performance, accomplishments, etc.
