Excitement is building among Ram volleyball fans as the matchup for the Sectional game has been set. On Thursday, October 26th, the Scott City Rams will travel to Portageville to meet the Portageville Bulldogs in what promises to be a thrilling match. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 28-4-2, having won their district championship by beating East Prairie in straight sets.
For Portageville, the Sectional match has been a tough hurdle to overcome for the past two years. Despite reaching the Sectional round in each of the past two seasons, the team has fallen both times. However, with such an impressive record this year, the Bulldogs will sure to be a competitive foe.
Scott City, meanwhile, has their own reasons for excitement. The Rams claimed their district championship this year, and it marks their first appearance in the Sectional round since 2011. Players and fans alike will be going into the match with high spirits and a determination to keep their run going.
With both teams looking to make a statement, this matchup promises to be an incredibly exciting encounter. All eyes will be on the Scott City and Portageville teams as they take to the court on October 26th.
