2024 Baseball Preview
The Scott City Rams baseball team is gearing up for an exciting new season! Led by head coach Skylar Cobb, who has been with the team since 2020-2021, the team is looking to their juniors and seniors to deliver big performances. With a lot of experience under their belts, these upperclassmen are well-equipped to lead the team through any challenges that come their way.
Coach Cobb has described the team as being determined to be great this season, with a clear goal of achieving a district championship 3-peat and even more beyond that. The team is coming off two consecutive district championships, and they are looking to carry that momentum forward to even greater success this year. With this in mind, the team is focused on playing together through the ups and downs, always striving to improve and be the best they can be.
In addition to the team’s primary focus on teamwork and chemistry, the Rams are also benefiting from Coach Cobb’s experience and guidance. As a seasoned baseball coach (and with a coaching staff full of baseball experience), he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team, helping them to develop their individual skills and come together as a cohesive unit. He is excited to work with this group and is confident that they have what it takes to achieve great things this season.
As the season gets underway, all eyes will be on the Scott City Rams baseball team as they strive to achieve their goals and cement their place among the most successful teams in the program’s history.
