Baseball Schedule Released

The 2023-2024 baseball schedule for the Scott City High School base team is now available! This year’s Rams, once again led by Scott City graduate Skylar Cobb as coach, are looking to maintain last year’s momentum. In the 2022-2023 season, the baseball team won their second straight district title, before falling to the eventual Class 3 third place finishers, the Portageville Bulldogs. The Rams are eager to take another shot at a district title and an opportunity to advance in the state tournament.

There are several notable dates to mark on your calendar this season. Opening day this year will be on the road at Lesterville on March 15th, with the highly anticipated home opener being played on March 23rd against the Sikeston Bulldogs. The baseball team will also compete once again in the annual Malden tournament on April 12th. And the aforementioned district tournament will begin on May 11th, at a location to be named later.

It’s an exciting time to be a Ram fan, with the girls and boys basketball teams streaking towards the end of their seasons and with the spring sports about to begin their seasons. We hope to see many Ram fans in attendance to cheer on our wonderful student athletes!
