The baseball district tournaments are right around the corner and the Scott City Rams are well positioned to earn their third straight district championship.
The Scott City Rams baseball team enter the upcoming Class 3, District 2 Tournament as the top seed. These gifted athletes have showcased extraordinary skills and consistency throughout the regular season, earning them a record of 28-3 as they begin the postseason. Led by a stellar senior class and backed by an enthusiastic community, the Rams have shown unwavering determination and dedication towards the game. Their teamwork, strong pitching, impeccable defense, and unstoppable offense have made them a force to reckon with on the field.
The Rams will begin their postseason play on Monday, May 13th at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. They will play the winner of the game between #4 seed Woodland Cardinals and #5 seed Charleston Blue Jays. Not only will the Rams have familiarity with every team in the tournament, they will also have familiarity with the ballpark, as this year’s district tournament is scheduled to be played at Scott City High School.
