Girls Basketball Secures Spot in District Final!

The Scott City girls basketball team, sporting a season record of 18-8, will be playing for a district championship on Friday, February 23rd! After their second victory over the Kelly Hawks this season, this time in the district semifinals by a score of 45-35, the girls basketball team will be taking on the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders. The district championship game will take place in Bloomfield and tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

If the Rams can win Friday, it will be the first district championship for the program since 2011. It is the first matchup of the season with the Crusaders from Saxony Lutheran, who have moved down into Class 3 districts this year. Saxony enters the game with a record of 17-8 and defeated the Woodland Cardinals 66-47 in the district semifinals.
