Rams Ready to Reign: District Tournament Awaits!
The countdown has officially begun for the highly anticipated Class 2, District 2 Volleyball District Tournament! The Scott City Rams are hitting peak form as they head into this year’s competition. With a stellar overall record of 20-9-3 and securing the #2 seed in the district tournament, the squad is building momentum and confidence heading into tournament play. The energy around the team has been electric, and the entire community is buzzing with excitement to see the Rams compete for a spot at the state level!
The journey kicks off on Tuesday, October 20th, right here at Scott City Schools, with the Rams opening the tournament against the #7 seed, the Charleston Blue Jays. The Rams appear to hold the edge, having won the single match played between the two programs this season. The Rams will take the court at 4:00 pm to kick off their efforts to progress through the tournament.
If the Rams secure the victory against Charleston, they will advance to face the winner of the matchup pitting #3 Puxico against #6 Kelly. It will be a difficult path through the bracket, but with their chemistry, talent, and local support behind them, the Ram squad is ready for every challenge that comes their way. We hope all Ram fans come out on October 20th and help the Scott City Rams dominate the court!
