Several Girls Basketball Players Honored
The Scott City girls basketball team had a highly successful season, with a record of 18-9 and finishing as the district runner-up. With that level of success, it is no surprise to say several players from this season have truly been exceptional. Three members from this year’s team have been recognized with awards from the skills they demonstrated on the court.
Two seniors and one junior from this year’s Rams have been honored with inclusion to both the All-District and All-Conference teams. Senior Gracie Karrenbrock earned the All-District and 1st Team All-Conference awards. Senior Makenzie was recognized with the All-District and All-Conference Honorable Mention awards. Last, but certainly not least, junior Lily Landis was named to the All-District team and 1st Team All-Conference.
Their achievements are simply phenomenal and have certainly not gone unnoticed. Throughout the season, these basketball players have shown unwavering dedication, putting in countless hours of hard work and training, always striving to improve their game. They have demonstrated their talent, skill and teamwork on the court, inspiring and motivating their teammates to reach their highest potential.
We congratulate these amazing athletes on their incredible success and impressive accomplishments this season. Their achievements are a testament to their unwavering hard work, determination and perseverance. We are incredibly proud of them and are excited to see what they will achieve in the future.
